Here we are as promised our January challenge to 'ALTER A PHOTO' our challenge challenged both Chris (Mrs Bling) and I as we had never done one before..lol
But that's what it's all about.
So here we go this first photo is of Chris' DD and DG and don't you think they are the spit of our Chris.
Here it is altered...Chris gave it a real grungy background with a modern feel to it, those letters are so small, she did them free hand and then took for ages to cut them out .... 'Fancy that'
Chris enjoyed it so much lol she did a second one to share with you... once again DG. Wait till you see this altered piece it is sooo gorgeous and original the words are wicked.
What did I tell you..it took her all night to come up with those words but hey it was worth it Chris....how original is that.
Mine, well, some of you have seen my photo I chose to alter already in the post below but for those that have not here it is.
2nd from the left is my youngest son Leigh, he was best man for his good friend Jez 2nd from the right.
Although challenging I did have alot of fun with this one... I used gesso on the background to start with.
changed the heads using images from Artchix studios which I have had a lonnnng time... searched a catalogue for the red pieces and combed a magazine for the words.I am actually so pleased with it I am framing it.
