I have been meaning to join in with the 'Dress it up' blog challenge set by Margaret for a number of months now but kept running out of time however this month I did find the time and had great fun...
being taken back a few years designing paper dresses with tabs on for the Bunty comic a doll was printed on the back of the comic each week along with paper outfits I loved dressing her up and designing my own outfits for her.
I have had this gorgeous paper for ages and the lace for about 11years, the ribbon for 4years... made for each other.
Chris over at Bling-kin-eck was staying with me last week and she must have made a dozen pairs of shoes out of paper ...think she was having a shoe fetish going on, LOL
My kitchen looked like a shoe shop and as I had a small amount of the dress paper left she just had to make some likkle shoes to match.

So very glad you joined this great collaboration. Welcome aboard! It's so much fun when you have that perfect piece in your stash that finally goes with another perfect thing. Looks like you dug deep in your stash for this one. And it turned into a really stunning dress, too. Chris did a great job on the shoes, too. A matching outfit simply can't be beat.
Your dress is precious Chriss and the shoes are so darling too! I have wanted to make shoes...but like you, I am not sure where the time goes!!! June already!

Utterly gorgeous dress Chrissy, the green complements your eyes. Now you need to "dolly" yourself up with a pic of you wearing the dress and those beautiful matching shoes Chris made.
Jo's right... your house did look like the elves and the shoemaker's workshop!!!! What a treat it was that evening!
