Tea Tuesday Girls,
I was thinking on the lines of sunflowers a while back and thought I would make it my tea Tuesday post for today.
The famous name that comes to mind is of course the Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh
Another of his well known paintings being 'The Cafe Terrace'
Below is a 11x14 tile art of the said painting which I have had for many years however it has never been on a wall yet...will have to put that right
Another wonderful painting of his is Starry Night ....

I love everything about VVG - he was before the days of psychotherapy - poor guy - but we have the full benefit of his vivid imagination and deep emotions.
My Tea post has something in common today too - not the sunflowers - but the gals talking it up and the telephone in the background.
Happy T today!! Kimmie
Ah that's nice - I went to the Van Gough gallery in Amsterdam when I was a student - very moving.
In answer to your Q - yes I missed Israel very very much & it took ages to get it out of my system - but I knew that I didn't want to live there forever.
Such a wonderful post and you touched on my favorite artist. I have many, many of his prints. Did you know he painted two pieces called "Starry Night?" The other one has a body of water and many stars. I have both hanging together and always ask people what the name of each is. They are amazed when they hear they were both named the same.
Thanks for all these beautiful memories of Vincent. I'm sure he'd appreciate your homage to him and Tea today.
Happy T Tuesday.
