Here is a tag which I am showing for the Tag Your It here
we must either include a quote or a family photo as the challenge.
This Photo is not of my family but that of a blogging friend Cookie find her HERE
It is of her mother Elizabeth who has been poorly of late.
A whole bunch of Blogging Friends made her a little something with the photo Cookie allowed us to use.
I used Cosmo Cricket paper as my background and embssed her crown in silver.
Thanx Cookie x

Washes away from the Soul
One of Rosie's Tags using one of the Cosmo Cricket grunge papers which needs no background work as its all done for you just apply your image, quote and embellishments and its done.
I love the quote she has chosen...
Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.
By Picasso.
Rosie has stamped her clown image and then using a white ink pen has given him character.
Thanx Rosie great use of this paper.

4x4 Friday & Wednesday stamper
OK, I am sooo not a yellow and orange person and found this a tough one to do but wasn't going to be beat.
The sunglasses stamp is one from Inkadinkado which I have had for some time and used it for the first time today.. I suppose this is what a challenge does for you...makes you search the stamp boxes for inspiration. The bathing cap advert is from Karen at Scrapz the flip flops are an EBay find along time ago...they just seem to finish it off. I feel sure I will do this challenge again because it proved I can work with the 2 colours I would never normally use.
This card covers both 4X4 Friday and Wednesday Stamper Luv Chriss x

some of them into this little house.
The back ground paper, bird stamps and the love letters transparency are all theirs. Recycled post box...i knew would come in for something one day.

she's a star
Chris was over at mine last night and we scrapped 'till 2am this morning, going by our normal once a week crafting night that is early for us... lol
well by the time we have a bite to eat and a chat and chocolate before we even start crafting...LOL
Yesterday I promised to show you one of her layouts well scroll down and you will see one she did on another of our crafting nights.
this Reality check is of my DGD taken about 7yrs ago aged 3... I found the photo about midnight and decided I just had to scrap it and I am thrilled I did :))
Look at the way she plucks those strings..she's a natural... she's been here before that one!
All the papers apart from the card stock on the background come from the Cosmo Cricket range and even the guitar how perfect was that.

Look at the concentration on this little guy...He's programmed to play alright.
He is Chris's DGS she scrapped him using the Cosmo Cricket Cogsmo double sided papers which has her in a real dilemma because she loves both sides and is almost reduced to tears as she wants to keep the other side... how we laugh about it.
Yesterday I promised to show you just what Linda did with the left overs of her CC papers, scroll down and see...
Posted by Chriss Rollins at 20:19 1 comments
And here it is Linda's masterpiece...
Both Chris and I adore it...Linda promised never to tear up all the scraps left over from her CC papers again...but I for one hope very much that she does.
The New Cosmo Cricket Summer range is out at the end of June and I cant wait to see what you do with the scraps you will have left Linda.
Pop over to Linda's blog and see what else she does with Frida.
Thank you to the team for the time and creativness you give to this blog. xx Look out for Rosies little works of ART coming soon :)).

ATC's
This ATC was made a month or so ago but only just getting round to showing it here it's been shown in the Scrapz Gallery since May.
I bought the stamp from Karen at 'Scrapz uk' why not pop over and see here amazing collection of Crafty Goodies. http://www.scrapz.co.uk/
The fab papers I both stamped and doodled on are from the Cosmo Cricket Cogsmo range...love doodling
I just adore this fairy stamp I have used on this bleach, water and ink tecnique ATC the stamp is one designed by local artist (to me) Jean Hardy of Crafty Individuals...see her online store for more of her wonderful creations. http://www.craftyindividuals.co.uk/
I finished the ATC off by adding gold embossing
using a selection of stamps, sorry I can't remember where I bought them.
Lastly this tiny shrine is a lovely piece of art which looks so at home on this ATC, it has been created by Rosie and once again the back ground paper and papers she stamped on are from CC and with that already distressed look to it, it is perfect for the Rosies Modonna.
More tomorrow along with a great LO from Chrissy plus you can see just what Linda did with all her little bits of scrap papers she had left over from CC, waste not want not as the saying goes.
I love it and can hardly wait to share it with you tomorrow.

Once you pop you can't stop
In the name of crafts I was forced to eat a whole tube (which I didn’t enjoy one little bit) of those things which claim ‘once you pop you can’t stop’ it’s soo true you just can’t stop, has anyone ever tried has anyone ever wanted to?? LOL. I punched holes in the plastic lid about 7 is good it will allow room inside for about 3mtrs of each ribbon, I covered the tube in a fabulous Cosmo Cricket paper and added a label with the word friendship on (to give as a gift to a crafty friend, enjoy it Chris) I then cut out a little felt flower, added a button to the center of the flower and then glued a small piece of Green spotted ribbon to the back before gluing it to the front of the dispenser… added 7 assorted ribbons inside the tube and allowing about 2inches to be pulled through the lid. I just love the sound of the ribbons being pulled through…try it you will know what i mean. LOL. If you dont have a problem eating more Pringles you could colour co-ordinate the outside with the ribbons on the inside. If you make one leave me a link and I will come see you. Happy popping. Rosie's Little Princess
I loved the Cosmo Cricket papers they are of a gorgeous heavy quality and very atmospheric for creating everything from ATC backgrounds to scrapbook pages. Why spend time endlessly distressing and inking when you can have paper that looks like this??? Or is that just lazy??
This little sweetheart is just so cute (even though she doesn't appear to want her picture taken) and so I thought she must be somebody's little princess and ought to have a crown as well as a teddy! Don't you just love her little button boots?
Thanx for sharing this fab ATC Rosie.

Chrissy's Crazy Lay Out
This photo was just screaming out for some fun CC papers. They just suit DG down to the ground, have no doubt he would’ve given that robot a run for his money in the golfing stakes too.

Cosmo Cricket... 'My Story'
Today is the launch of my new blog where I get to show you the art/crafts which has been created by a team of girls who all have a passion for PAPER.
We have been putting together quite a collection over this last month as well as keeping up to date with our other crafting blogs which are listed on the right.
So far Chris, Linda and Rosie have helped me to create some fab pieces for 'Cosmo Cricket' using their wonderful papers which they trusted me with..LOL. Big thankyou Lindsay... the papers are of fantastic heavy quality, co-ordinting double sided and have been a delight to work with.
We do hope you like what you see here today, the first to be shown is this little house 'My Story' these houses are soo enjoyable to create and so many artists/crafter's alike are making them and do you know what, it doesn't surprise me at all (they can become addictive in a nice way) thet can be made to any size you wish there are no rules as you will see over the next coming weeks. The 2 back ground papers I used for this house are of course from Cosmo Cricket which I have stamped to give depth and shape to the house... I really did enjoy doing my first house and we have a whole street of them just waiting to be viewed, OH and I could not resist using the CC name on the roof... all builders give the house a name on their design plans.
As today is our launching day you are being given an insight into what we have been creating for you.
The header is made up of 5 ATC's the four on the right have been created by me as in Chriss, using both the grunge look and contemporary papers from Cosmo Cricket they were a pleasure to create and the papers I believe will work with modern day and vintage looks, the ATC on the left is from my dearest friend of 21yrs over in Dubai, Hi Denise.. big wave... Thank you, 'Its good to dream'.... I know you are becoming inpatient to see more... so without further ado please scroll down and see what we have in store for you. Hope you enjoy.
Thank you girls because without you this blog would not be possible.
